What the specs mean.
Product specifications, capacities, data rates, endurance ratings and performance figures published on this site are nominal values derived from our own testing and from component datasheets. Real-world performance depends on your platform, firmware, thermal conditions and workload, and will differ.
Endurance and "years of typical use" figures are modelled against the JEDEC JESD219 client workload (40 GB written per day). They are an illustration of drive life under a reference workload, not a guarantee of service life.
We improve products continuously. Specifications, part numbers, packaging and availability are subject to change without notice, and the catalogue on this site does not constitute an offer to sell. Nothing here is a quotation: pricing, minimum order quantities and lead times are confirmed in writing by our sales team against a specific enquiry.
Where a certification is shown as Pending on our certifications page, it is an application in progress or a self-declaration — not a held third-party certificate. We state this explicitly rather than implying coverage we do not have.
What we stand behind.
ZION products carry a limited warranty against functional defects in materials and workmanship — 3 years for memory modules and SATA SSDs, 5 years for NVMe SSDs — valid from the date of purchase against an invoice from an authorised ZION reseller. The full terms, exclusions and claim procedure are set out on the warranty page and form part of these terms.
The warranty is the complete statement of our obligations in respect of product defects. To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 or other applicable Indian law, we do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss — including loss of data, loss of profit, or downtime — arising from use of a product or of this website. Back up your data. A memory or storage device can fail, and a replacement under warranty replaces the hardware, not the contents.
Acceptable use.
You may browse this site, and download or print its content, for your own business or personal evaluation of ZION products. You may not scrape it at scale, resell its content, misrepresent yourself when submitting an enquiry, or attempt to probe, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site or its supporting systems.
The ZION name and logo, the Abacus Peripherals name, the site design, photography and written content are our property or used under licence, and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property law. Third-party names, marks and logos shown on this site — including customer and platform marks — remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
Information you submit through our enquiry, distributor or warranty forms is handled as described in our privacy policy. Please don't send confidential technical information through a web form.
Governing law & changes.
This site may link to third-party sites we do not control; we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data. The site is provided on an "as available" basis and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
